    EcoEmprenedorXXI aims to promote the creation and growth of high quality, innovative companies with a future in the clean technology sector in Catalonia and Spain, to contribute to the growth of businesses in the cleantech sector and to aid the interaction between all agents operating in this sector.
    EcoEmprenedorXXI is mainly involved in training, support and viability analyses of business ideas, tutoring and mentoring, skills training, teaching of good practices and experiences, and an award for best entrepreneurial initiative. Its overarching aim is to provide participants with a series of tools and resources that will help them to create and grow their company.
    The programme is directed at university graduates, researchers, professors, doctoral students and entrepreneurs who have a business idea or nascent company and want to explore their entrepreneurial capacity in creating and setting up their own business activity, either as a spin-off of their own institution or independently.
    This programme is supported by various institutions which play an important role in the sector: 'la Caixa', Gamesa, Barcelona Activa, the Catalan Energy Institute, KIC InnoEnergy and the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce.
