How does entrepreneurship advice work?
Everything you need to start a business
We advise you on developing your idea, defining your business model, conducting market research and assessing financial feasibility, completing procedures and obtaining licences, finding funding and accessing training. If your project is viable and you want to launch it, we can also provide certification that your business plan is viable.
In-person sessions take place at the Entrepreneurship Resource Centre, at carrer de la Llacuna, 162. From this facility, we support entrepreneurial initiatives that are being launched in Barcelona.
To access personalised advice, you must first attend an information session. There, you will learn about Barcelona Activa’s resources, online tools and training opportunities, as well as some basic concepts relating to marketing, legal structures and funding. You can explore these topics in greater depth during your personalised advice sessions.
Closer to you: Economic Activity Assistance Points
To bring entrepreneurship resources closer to local residents, we provide Economic Activity Assistance Points (PAAE) in five districts of the city.
If you live in one of these districts or have a project with an impact in one of them, you can request one-to-one advice. An entrepreneurship expert will help you develop your project.
You can find a PAAE in the following districts:
- Nou Barris Economic Activity Assistance Point, at Nou Barris Activa, carrer de Vilalba dels Arcs, 39.
- Ciutat Vella Economic Activity Assistance Point, at El Convent, plaça de Pons i Clerch, 2, and the Ciutat Vella District branch office, plaça de Vicenç Martorell, 6.
- Sant Andreu Economic Activity Assistance Point, at Sant Andreu Activa, carrer de Garcilaso, 103.
- Horta-Guinardó Economic Activity Assistance Point, at Ca n'Andalet, passatge d'Andalet, 11.
- Sants-Montjuïc Economic Activity Assistance Point, at Sants-Montjuïc Activa, carrer de la Constitució, 17 (inside the Can Batlló complex).
Choose how you receive advice
We offer advice in person, by phone, and online. If you want to switch a phone appointment to an online session, email emprenedoria@barcelonactiva.cat, and include the date and time of your appointment and the email addresses of the people taking part. Online sessions take place via Microsoft Teams.
Advice is available at various times in the morning and afternoon from Monday to Thursday, and on Friday mornings. You can receive advice in Catalan or Spanish at any available time and in English at selected times.
