How does the Entrepreneurship Department work?
Welcome Session, the first step of the advisory service
We advise you on everything you need: from developing your idea, market research and financial feasibility, paperwork and licences, finding financing, training...
If the project is viable and you want to get it off the ground, we can also offer you accreditation of the viability of your business plan. We provide face-to-face advice at the Entrepreneurship Resource Centre (C/Llacuna 162-164).
To access personalised advice, you must first attend an introductory session. In this session, we will give you an overview of Barcelona Activa's resources, online tools and training catalogue, as well as an initial overview of concepts to consider when starting a business (marketing, legal forms, financing, etc.), which will be developed further in the personalised advice sessions.
Everything you need to set up your business
With the aim of bringing entrepreneurial resources closer to people, and as a complement to the activities you can find at the Glòries Entrepreneurial Resource Centre, Barcelona Activa offers you Economic Activity Assistance Points (PAAE) in 5 districts of the city. The PAAE will accompany you throughout the process of launching your entrepreneurial idea.
If you live in one of these districts or have a project that will have an impact on one of these areas, you can request individual advice from an expert in entrepreneurship who will help you develop your project.
The PAAE is present in the following districts:
- Nou Barris Economic Activity Assistance Point, at Nou Barris Activa, C/Vilalba dels Arcs 39
- Ciutat Vella Economic Activity Service Point, at the Convent of Sant Agustí, Plaza Pons y Clerch 2, and the Ciutat Vella District branch office, Plaza de Vicenç Martorell, 6
- Sant Andreu Economic Activity Service Point, at Sant Andreu Activa, c/Residencia 13-15
- Horta Guinardó Economic Activity Assistance Point, at Ca n'Andalet, Pasaje Andalet, 11
- Sants Montjuïc Economic Activity Assistance Point, at Sants Montjuïc Activa, Calle Constitució 17 (inside the Can Batlló complex)
You can choose how the advisory meeting will be.
To better adapt to your needs, we offer you different formats of advice, face-to-face and by phone. If it suits you better, you can transform a telephone advice into a telematic one, by sending an email to emprenedoria@barcelonactiva.cat, explaining us what day and time you have booked the advice and telling us the email addresses of all the attendees to the meeting. We use TEAMS as a tool to provide this type of advice. This procedure is also used in case you have any specific need to carry out the advice (for example: a sign interpreter), we need a notification of a minimum of 72 hours before the advisory meeting to be able to summon a sign interpreter.
We offer you advice every day of the week and in different time slots in the morning and afternoon (except Friday afternoons when we do not offer advice). You will also find in which language we can assist you. We can assist you in Catalan and Spanish in any time slot, but we also offer advice in English in some of them.
