Capitalizing unemployment means receiving the unemployment benefit amount, which can be the full or partial amount depending on the type of benefit. Unemployment can be capitalized by anyone who intends to start a new self-employed activity, or who wants to become a stable member of cooperatives or worker-owned companies that have already been set up, or who wants to set up a new one. Those who wish to use the amount to make a contribution to the share capital of a limited company, whether newly incorporated or incorporated within a maximum period of 12 months prior to making this contribution, may also do so.
