Manina Medtech is a femtech startup created in Barcelona in 2021 with the objectives of maximizing the success rates of in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatments, improving their accessibility, and reducing the associated health risks. We have developed Seedchrony, a medical device for non-invasive, immediate, and precise detection of whether the uterus is ready for embryo implantation on the day of embryo transfer. Seedchrony uses a sensor attached to the transfer catheter and an artificial intelligence algorithm, which would advise the doctor to either proceed with the transfer at that moment or to store the embryo for the next day or the next cycle. We are currently in the clinical validation stage with patients undergoing IVF treatment at the assisted reproduction unit of Hospital Vall d'Hebron.
